About us

Lomotion is an independent film production company based in Berne, Switzerland. Founded in 2001 by Louis Mataré and David Fonjallaz, today the company has seven permanent employees and is home to an important production infrastructure including extensive post-production facilities.

Louis Mataré

Position: Producer

Louis Mataré is the managing director of Lomotion and has produced all of Lomotion's works. He took part in the EAVE European Producers Workshop in 2013 and has been a board member of the producers' association GARP since 2014.

Magdalena Welter

Position: Producer

Magdalena Welter has been working at Lomotion since 2012 and has been a co-owner since 2016. After realising numerous productions as production manager, she joined the production team as a producer in 2018.
